The '57 J.M. Cadet Band Plays "Dixie Patrol"
MUSIC ON - OFF
We dedicate this John Marshall Cadet Alumni website to all former cadets and sponsors, especially the 76 cadets who gave their life for our Country. We remember all of our cadet brothers and sponsors who are no longer with us. May their spirit live on!
With gratitude, we give thanks to the Alumni who continue their support in upholding the legacy of the John Marshall High School Corps of Cadets! This website is for you... Cadet Alumni, former Sponsors, Marshallites, Family, and Friends of the Corps! (On April 24, 2016 this website was enhanced by adding all content formerly included on the JM "Brother Rat Productions" website.) Go HERE.

J.M. CADET WAR MEMORIAL AT HOLLYWOOD CEMETERY
OAKWOOD CEMETERY MEMORIAL PARADE - Spring 1958
Below is a portion of General Douglas MacArthur's farewell speech delivered on May 12, 1962 to the Cadets at West Point. These poignant words are befitting to every former John Marshall Cadet. The memories live on.
"...My days of old have vanished-tone and tints. They have gone glimmering through the dreams of things that were. Their memory is one wondrous beauty, watered by tears and coaxed and caressed by the smiles of yesterday. I listen then, but with thirsty ear, for the witching melody of faint bugles blowing reveille of far drums beating the long roll...... Today marks my final roll call with you. But I want you to know that when I cross the river, my last conscience thoughts will be of the Corps, and of the Corps, and the Corps..."
Memories, Pictures, & Comments. Please share them. This website is a tribute to our Cadet Corps & our School, the memories of both having meant much to all of us through the years. Please note that all semesters such as Fall/Spring used in descriptions on this website are referring to the calendar year, not the class year. (This can be very confusing!)
